Over the Holidays, our Better Together group was blessed to have the chance to celebrate together. For Thanksgiving, each lady brought a dish to share and we discussed memories of what Thanksgiving was like for them as children. To say I was impressed with some of the culinary skills of these young women would be an understatement. Thanks to the generosity of many churches and individuals, we were able to bless each mom and their children with Christmas gifts. Again, we had a time to discuss the meaning of Christmas, how we experienced Christmas as children, and what type of memories we want to create for our children moving forward. There is always a touch of grief involved with the Holidays when life has been as tough as it has for many of these ladies. It was a privilege to walk alongside them as they processed challenging emotions and explored ways to make life better for their own children!

Volunteers Needed!

Providing childcare, meals or rides during group are a few of the ways you can get involved. We also have several moms interested in a mentor. Praises and Prayer Requests
1. Praise God for the opportunity to serve those in our community who are struggling.
