So much of the domestic adoption world is being at the right place at the right time, open and ready for what comes next. This was exactly the case for Tom and Deanna as they made the decision to present their adoption profile to an expectant mom who came to ICM in January of this year with interest in making an adoption plan for her unborn son. The baby's due date was an estimate, and there were a lot of things that were unknown, yet Tom and Deanna decided to pursue the opportunity before them and we believe everyone would agree that it could not have been a better fit! Tom and Deanna made an immediate connection with their son's birth mother, and were able to enjoy shared time with their new son in the hospital with her. Since then, Tom and Deanna have maintained regular contact with their son Thomas's birth mother and look forward to the opportunity to visit with her again soon. Welcome, Baby Thomas! We are all so happy you're here.

At ICM we are always seeking new and effective ways to honor our mission of glorifying God by restoring and empowering families. In the coming month, be on the lookout for news about an exciting new program we are looking to implement that will strive to offer moms/women support and restoration they so desperately need in the midst of the isolation brought on by covid19 during the last year!
