The words above came from one of the ladies we serve through our Better Together Program. She stated that while she was still lonely, while she still had a burden of single parenting her children, and continues to face complex challenges in life to which there seems no solution, Better Together has given her a way to be "less alone". Better Together provides this group of single moms a place to connect with other women in similar situations. It provides them access to staff that can help connect them to appropriate community resources in order to hopefully lighten their burden. Ultimately, we pray this program helps all involved feel loved and valued by others, and in turn be able to grasp the love their Heavenly Father has for them and the infinite value He gives them.
Prayers and Praises
1. Pray for us as we seek to continue to grow out Better Together Program by adding a second women's group and a men's group in the Spring.
2. Praise God for the opportunity to glorify God by seeking to restore and empower families.
3. Pray for our Adoption staff as they continue the beautiful and complex work of serving children and families in the area of Adoption.
