Our friends at First Christian Church in Champaign are hosting the Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly known as the Empowered to Connect Conference). This is an incredible training event for adoptive families, those considering adoption, or anyone who wants a deeper understanding of the effects of childhood trauma.
1. For a rapid and effective reopening in our nation and communities. Let us continue to pray for families who are without employment, suitable housing, or safe childcare options through the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
2. That the Lord would lead a terrific candidate to fill an open family care position. We pray for someone with solid social work experience, a deep heart for the Lord and an ability to connect with the needs of the families we serve.
3. For new financial partners with a deep desire to support the local work of family care and adoption.
